Just One More Swim by Caroline Pitcher is a preschool board book about two polar bear cubs who take their first swim in the ocean. It is a very cute story about a polar bear mom leading her young cubs to their first adventure of swimming. Children would love the story and the illustrations of this

book. It could be used to read aloud the story with young children and could be read independently by beginning readers.

Summary: Just One More Swim is about two baby polar bears getting over their fear of water and learning to swim. The bears discover they love swimming and do not want to stop.

Personal Reaction: It was a cute book especially if you love animals. I liked that it showed how babies copy what their
Show More
mothers do and depend on them to teach them.

Classroom ideas: I would read this book to kids because most kids like baby animals and I would have them discuss what they thought of the book. I might have the kids tell me what they were afraid of but learned to get over.
