It has been awhile, thus it was time for another Hardy Boys mystery - Hunting for Hidden Gold. There is not a whole lot to say other than flying through these books is like going back in time, sitting under the great big maple tree next to our house on a summer day reading one of these cover to

cover and running back to the library to get another. I could not get enough. These boys incredibly always find themselves in danger and dealing with gangs and thieves, but their fearlessness allows them to conquer whatever gets thrown their way. The adults seem to give them an unbelievable amount of leeway to do whatever they feel is right, and in this particular book, they seem to be experts in camping in the Montana mountains in winter on horseback....even after most of their supplies went down the river......and no one really seems concerned that they are gone. Gosh, to be a Hardy Boy sure would have been something.....and it was something we all aspired to.....and I'm doing it all over again!!!
