This is the sixth book in the Worst Witch series. Mildred Hubble has worked incredibly hard on her holiday project and is looking forward to returning to Miss Cackle's Academy for Witches and showing it to everyone. Arch enemy, Ethel Hallow, even seems friendly at first, but once again takes

advantage and secretly steals Mildred’s holiday project. A talking tortoise and a broomstick ride in a raging storm to save him from a hollow in the top of a tall tree keep Mildred on her toes. A timeless class that works well as a night-time read aloud, really enjoyable.
