When at least eleven bodies are discovered dissolving in plastic barrels in a house belonging to the state government, the authorities are quick to suppress the information.

When a high-ranking member of the government requests their assistance, Jack Morgan agrees that Private Delhi will handle the
Show More
matter. Santosh Wagh warns him that this investigation is not about solving the crime but is a political competition between two powerful men.

Nevertheless, Wagh wades into the investigation. But with the crime scene locked down and the authorities suppressing information, will Santosh be able to solve the crime before becoming a target for elimination?

Two storylines, an illegal organ harvesting operation and a serial killer, emerge in this, the thirteenth Private narrative. Santosh Wagh carries the tale quite nicely while Jack Morgan remains notably absent for most of the story. There is a strong sense of place as the Delhi Private office investigates this crime. As always, readers will find the narrative spins out in short chapters and at a fast pace, both trademarks of the author. Unexpected reveals and building suspense keep the pages turning; readers of the series will find much to appreciate in this story of failure, greed, and power.

I might have mentioned this after listening to the last Private: India book, but it bears repeating: Note to audiobook producers: Having heavily accented ethnic readers does not add to the atmosphere of your story. It just makes it harder to follow.

The story itself is just okay. A organ harvesting
Show More
operation has some very high-profile corporate and medical participants, and while bodies are piling up sans things like livers and hearts, the perpetrators themselves are being hunted by a vigilante. Private is not at the top of their game, merely coexisting with inept local law enforcement. Not a bad story, if predictable, and I probably would have kicked it up a star had it not used an accented reader to tell the story.

Just did not feel this book. I could not get into the story or the characters. It did not seem like a typical Private novel to me. Maybe Private has just expanded too much to keep it as the small tough little organization as it was meant to be originally. Then again, maybe it has just outgrown
Show More
itself and there needs to be a Private # two.

I did not like this Private novel at all. It is about a serial killer seeking revenge by harvesting organs from people. I didn't think there was any redeeming quality about this book. I struggled through the entire book.

A gripping read based on a clever concept, that there is one perfect partner out there for each of us. That person could live in the next street or on the other side of the world.

Part thriller, part crime, part romance with a mix of science fiction as well, this book will appeal to a lot of
Show More
people. Each chapter follows the story of one of five unconnected people and each person’s story builds to its own dramatic conclusion or twist.

Although at the start I struggled in trying to remember all the different characters and their situations as i am terrible with names, but I really enjoyed this book and would recommend it to anyone
