In a world of oblivious, inept adults, Madeline is lucky she has Carl. These books are funny, and full of visual subtlety that young children will enjoy. They are in on the joke. Carl is a good friend and a good pet.

Mrs. Manning gets locked out, so Carl's on duty for daycare activities today- good thing the schedule's written on the wall and Carl's excellent at following instruction! Really loved seeing Mrs. Manning in the background trying various things lol

Carl and Madeleine spend the morning at daycare. When the daycare operator gets locked out accidentally, it's up to Carl to keep the kids on task for the day's schedule.

BECAUSE CARL CAN READ!! It's canon!

Silly fun.
