Hanukkah. He accepts and ends up really enjoying it. The reading level is third or fourth grade. The curricular connection is history and holidays because this book is about celebrating Hanukkah.

A great book for teaching kids about generosity and family. Also a great book for a WWII history study. For grades 4-8.

Read but unowned, this is a great book to add to my history collection. Great for teaching Jewish culture, Holocaust, Hanukkah, and remembering, etc. in a kid-friendly way. Beautiful illustrations.
