Description

Sylvia Browne brings you Soul's Perfection, book 2 in the Journey of the Soul Series. This is a book filled with magnificent information about God, Life and the Universe. She leads you on your personal journey, telling you to love yourself, and to try to love everyone's soul. On loving others, Sylvia is quick to add with her well-known humour, that you have to try to love others, but you don't have to 'like them or their bad behaviour.'

I re-read this one recently as it is one of her volumes that includes
the list of 45 "life themes" that she says we all use in our
incarnations back to Earth, and I was talking to my kids about them. So
I pulled this volume off the shelf to refer to and found myself reading
it all over again. This is
Show More
the second volume in the Journey of the Soul
series, and I really do recommend all three books as a good overview of
Sylvia's explanation of why we are here, how we accomplish what we came
for, how we choose what we want to accomplish here, and what happens
when we exit.

I was raised as a southern Baptist, so the idea of reincarnation has
always been absolutely taboo for me to explore. It wasn't until I hit
my late 30s and early 40s that I finally had the gumption to question
things that I took as total truth for the whole of my life up until that
time. So many enigmas in the Bible, contradictions, etc. yet no one
ever had definitive answers that felt "right" until I discovered
Sylvia's books and her teachings on religion and philosophy.

She is a Gnostic Christian, and reading these books piqued my interest
in learning more about that branch of the faith. But who cares about
that? LOL

Anyway, the best part of this book, IMO, is that list of 45 life themes.
She says that we all pick two of them to live through when we come to
live this life on Earth (think of it like going to school), and that
usually the two themes will be at loggerheads with each other, one
stunting the pursuit of the other, so to speak, to set up challenges for
us to overcome. Fascinating stuff.

The 45 themes, according to Sylvia, are:

Activator
Aesthetic pursuits
Analyzer
Banner Carrier
Builder
Catalyst
Cause Fighter
Controller
Emotionality
Experiencer
Fallibility
Follower
Harmony
Healer
Humanitarian
Infallibility
Intellectuality
Irritant (my God, I've known a few of those!)
Justice
Lawfulness
Leader
Loner
Loser
Manipulator
Passivity
Patience
Pawn
Peacemaker
Performance
Persecution
Persecutor
Poverty
Psychic
Rejection
Rescuer
Responsibility
Spirituality
Survival
Temperance
Tolerance
Victim
Victimizer
Warrior
Wealth
Winner

Looking these over and considering my own life, I'd have to say I think
my two themes are Responsibility and Tolerance. I found this to be
fascinating reading and mucho food for thought.

I love this book for the wisdom it shares and the style of writing. I found this book hard to put down. I gain such insight from books like this but this one seemed to answer questions I had.. Love synchronicity! Enjoy this book and do not be deceived by its easy to read format... Great truth here!
