Summary:
My favorite poem in this book was the poem, "String." I doesn't really tell a story but the girl wants a string with all these different animals on it. The poem itself wraps around like a string.
Personal Reaction:
While not being a poem to read outloud, it is a good poem for a child to read
Classroom Extension Ideas:
1. Have class make their own concrete poetry
2. Draw out the poem the way it is written.
