This board book is clearly aimed at under tens; however, do not be fooled! This is arguably one of the best basic children's guides to flight that I have ever come across, and explains the subject with clear text and diagrams showing how kites and gliders get off the ground and stay airborne.

Technical terms are given and explained very well. Even an adult could understand the basic rudiments of flight from reading this book with their child.
There are even instructions for building your own kite.
The whole book is enhanced with Jim Russell's marvellous two tone illustrations.
You can but admire a book like this.
