I learned more about my body from this book than anything I was taught in health class. Even if you are not interested in birth control or becoming pregnant, every woman should read this. It is so rewarding to be in tune with your own body and this book gives you the tools to do that in a format
Show More
that is not overly medical or over simplified.

This a fantastic book for all women, not just those who are trying to get pregnant. I feel like I understand my body so much better after having read this book. I highly recommend it.

I haven't read it cover to cover, but I really think this is a must-read for any woman. There is so much about the female reproductive system that just isn't covered in health classes. My mom introduced me to the information in this book through a short pamphlet I read years ago, but this book is
Show More
much more comprehensive.

This should be required reading for all women. There are so many things in here that you just go "why didn't anyone TELL me that??"
I don't think I would actually rely solely on her method for birth control, but it is an excellent adjunct and would be perfect for someone who is (horrors!) trying to
Show More
get pregnant.

Several friends recommended this book to me, and I would in turn recommend it to just about any woman who is interested in understanding her body better, whether or not she's searching for a method of natural birth control. It's very accessible and in no way pushy or preachy. I can't vouch for the
Show More
sections on pregnancy achievement because I'm not quite ready for that :), but I can agree with the reactions of other reviewers who wish that the information about the reproductive cycle was made readily available to girls at a much younger age. Once I began charting, I was excited to discover that I could identify my peak day of fertility within less than a week!
