Reading Eighth Shepherd was neither exciting nor boring. The story was well-written and moved along at a good pace. We, the readers, spend a lot of time in the company of Shimona and Zachai in Jericho-- and our hearts go out to them as they struggle with their predicaments. Knowing how the story

ends also helps keep up hope, I must say!
The only thing I found a little annoying was this: A couple of characters serve as the authors' mouthpieces: they understand everything Yeshua says, they perceive the thoughts and intents of those around them, and they explain it all to us. To me, they came across as know-it-alls. Maybe I need to lighten up.
Bottom line: definitely worth a read!
