This is one of my favorite decks in terms of art, it is simply gorgeous. Each card of the deck is represented by stories and characters from Chinese mythology and they land look like beautiful Chinese water colors or screen paintings giving the deck a light and ethereal feel to it.Even the back of

the deck is beautiful, in gold foil with red dancers flowing all across it.
The artist did a very good job of translating and melding the original tarot images and meanings with Chinese mythology, giving each card a slight twist but not making it unrecognizable.

Instead of a booklet with this deck you get a fold out paper that has the interpretation of all the cards and includes an brief explanation for the Chinese elements behind it which I find fascinating and very helpful.

Also unlike regular tarot decks, the cards are smaller, more narrow and oblong than squared and for once I find them physically easy to manipulate and use.

I don't use this one for readings as I usually find myself so caught up in the images and differences, but I do love just taking it out and admiring it.
