no cards come out 'upside down,' and I always start from a deck that is arranged in the correct order, and I never charge. Even with these strictures, it is amazing the different readings that lay themselves out. (Counter clockwise because the layout mirrors what is. You face what is. Destiny is reflected by the cards).
