This book is pure greatness. All the best of Faulkner rolled into one easy-to-carry volume. If you are too cheap to buy all of Faulkner's novels, at least buy this one. You will not regret it.

Faulkner still reigns fairly high on my list of authors that I can always stand to read more of and always seem to congratulate myself for doing so afterwards.

Five stars simply for "The Bear," one of Faulkner's masterpieces. Otherwise, four stars for the collection as a whole.
