Involved

In Amsterdam, Bram Aarsden, an importer of sports cars, runs over a boy, severing both his legs. Filled with remorse, he can't do enough for the boy. It isn't long before his wife becomes jealous, accusing Aarsden of having an affair with the boy's mother, the accusation driving Aarsden into the mother's arms.
