I give this book 5 stars because Mandino was able to create 10 self-affirmation passages (scrolls) that were based on his wide reading of much of the self-help literature of the time. He also provides a weekly tracker one is for tracking our mood and another is to create accountability for

reviewing the affirmations and I just love his uplifting encouraging words reminding us to pray for guidance, set goals, take Acton, know that today might be our last day, persist in the face of failure, keep our sense of humor and laugh at ourselves, and keep family and the marketplace separate and to stay busy doing productive actions
