This book was a follow-up to Hix's earlier book, Looking Good, a sleeper in the publishing world that took off and became a minor best seller. Hix's thinly disguised homoerotic photos ensured the book's appeal among a certain segment of readers (or at least buyers).

Terrific book (in its time--no doubt we've had advances in the science of working out since then). Inspirational photos of men who had successfully worked out, at a time when man-as-sex-object was kind of a new deal, provided extra motivation. I have fond memories of this one!
