It includes selections of the writings of Philo of Alexandria, edited with an introduction by Hans Lewy; Sa'adia Gaon's Book of Doctrine's and Beliefs, abridged, introduced and translated from the Arabic by Alexander Altmann; and Yehuda Halevi's influential Kuzari, abridged and with an introduction and commentary by Isaak Heinemann, with a selection of Halevi's poetry.
