Had a smile on my face when i finished it.

enerally, I am very interested in literature from the 1930s, and I had already read a novel by Eric Linklater but I couldn't really get into it. I am not sure why. Perhaps because the novel is so much about the literary scene at that time, and I cannot get the jokes and quips that are supposed to
