Grundig gennemgang af landgangsfartøjerne brugt af de allierede i anden verdenskrig. Ret interessant fordi typerne blev videreudviklet undervejs og nogle fik fx ramper, fordi det viste sig meget besværligt at komme ud af dem i fuldt udstyr. Der er også lidt om tyskerne og operation Sea-Lion, der aldrig blev til noget.
