Description

Big Panda and Tiny Dragon embark on a journey through the seasons of the year together. They get lost, as many of us do. But while lost, they discover many beautiful sights they'd never have found had they gone the right way. Told through a series of beautiful drawings and quiet, sometimes silly, conversations, the panda and the dragon explore the thoughts and emotions, hardships and happiness that connect us all. In nature, they learn how to live in the moment, how to be at peace with uncertainty, and how to find the strength to overcome life's obstacles together.

Beautifully illustrated! Lots of sensible Buddhist philosophy here, some I've heard before. The best thing I read was - "Time doing nothing is never wasted." When you think about that, really think, it's a lovely thought. I gave it an extra star for the illustrations.

Enough good can't be said about this book. Uplifting, thought-provoking, inspiring...I could go on and on. Big Panda and Tiny Dragon finds a place in your heart and stays there. You think about its many messages long after you've put the book down. The illustrations are beautiful and so is the

writing.

Highly recommended!

On a visit to some friends, I was pleased to be shown this book that they'd received as a gift. I proceeded to read it from cover to cover which didn't impress my wife as apparently that's not the point of visiting friends.

I was captivated by both the words and the delightful illustrations as I

This is an awesome read that you'll want to return to time and time again - I know I will

they are lost, but then they realize that they might not have had a particular experience or seen a certain sight if they hadn’t been ‘lost.’ They enjoy the beauty of nature and open their minds to new experiences. They learn to rely on each other. At times the journey is difficult – they are cold or wet or hungry. They ponder some serious philosophical questions, and carefully observe how others endure. “Even a damaged tree can produce beautiful blossoms.

The story is told through Norbury’s wonderful drawings and the pair’s quiet conversations. There were times when I just sat and looked at one of those drawings and let my mind take me where it wanted. How refreshing!

”Are we nearly there yet?” asked Tiny Dragon.
Big Panda smiled. “I hope not.”
