A quite enjoyable trip into nostalgia. This time Kirk, Spock and McCoy save the universe again along with the help of the people of the Enterprise and the crew of a science vessel, the Tobias. There seems to be no right or wrong side to be on - only the methods used for getting the message across

differs. A deadly virogen is sweeping the galaxy unchecked and demands sacrifices and renewal of old friendships to prevent the fall of the Federation as a result of the devastation. Only time will tell if this is only temporary or if the lessons have been learned to secure the future.
