This is a great illustration of how everyday items can be reused and also includes information on the environmental hazards posed by plastic bags.

This book follows the life of a plastic bag which was thrown away. It flies all over the place and is used for many different things, showing the reader to not throw them away but to reuse or recycle them. I definitely think that the story and illustrations were both very strong in this book. The

soft, muted colors that Root used were quite beautiful and really grabbed my interest.
