The EARTH book is a book about teaching kids about how they can help make a difference for the earth. This book is about little things people can do to make a difference such as turning the faucet off while you brush your teeth, turning the lights off when you leave a room, and not littering.

like this book because I think children should learn from an early age the little things they can do that will affect their environment. This book is suited for children of age from about 4-8 it has pictures to show the children what they can do to make a difference.

The book also includes simple ideas that people can do to make a difference such as using both sides of your paper. I think a good idea would to have a chart in the classroom and each week add something that could make a difference for the Earth.

This is a great book for children to learn how to take care of the Earth and environment.

I honestly do not "get" the allure of todd parr books, but i have used them a couple times in storytime, and both times they went over well, so i'll keep using them. I wish it was more interactive. with a repeating phrase or actions the kids could do.

I would use this book to teach about the environment and what students can do to help, and what they are doing to hurt the earth.

The Earth Book is a wonderful book that introduces the earth to younger children. This book contains very colorful, vibrant colors that intrigue the children. The book talks to children about the Earth and how we can keep it clean and how we can recycle things.

I think this is a great book. I

myself love to recycle and reuse. I think that children should learn this at an early age so that they can help take care of our world.

An extension idea would be to recycle a plastic bottle into a flower. Paint it with vibrant colors and hang.

Another extension idea would be to gather gloves and trash bags and then walk around the school picking up trash. Talk about how this helps the Earth as you walk.

Todd Parr talks about the world and throwing away garbage in the trash can, recycling, remembering to turn off the lights. This is a good book to talk about our world and how to care for it.
