What's not to like? Each mini-story fits into each other well, and we shall never forget Calvin's ingenious snowmen formations. I'm sure the traffic did "slow down" around his house. I wish I'd had his inspiration when I was growing up, and maybe I would have put my imagination to use more often.

Calvin and Hobbes! This is a collection of some of their strips. It doesn't contain the best ones, in my opinion, but it's pretty hilarious. There's the one storyline, the title storyline, where Calvin is determined to get rid of these snowmen he imagines are out to get him. Of course, soaking them

No fall-down-and-bust-a-gut-laughing strips here, but a fine collection nonetheless of one of the best comic strips ever produced. The title sequence is especially surreal and macabre.

Bill Watterson was a comedic genius. Calvin and Hobbes never fail to disappoint. I adored them as a child, an adolescent, and even as an adult I continue to find them a delightful distraction from time to time.

I loved this book which has a very winter theme and don't forget the snowmen!
I like how it goes from Summer to winter as you read it.
A must read for all C&H Fans

Includes quite a few comics of Calvin's crazy snowmen and other winter adventures. One of the later collections, where Waterson's art is most imaginative and original. Even funnier now that we are parents to 3 five-year-olds!

It's amazingly good! My favorite part was when Calvin said, "I can't stop itching these bug bites." And Hobbes said, "Just think about something else." Calvin says, "LIKE WHAT?" And Hobbes says, "Like maybe stepping out of that poison ivy!"

This book is really funny and filled with humor. I recommend this book to all readers, young or old. I probably read it about three times already. It's one of the funniest books that I have ever read.

snow goons - the best of C&H in my view...how can any kid with that kind of imagination not be required to be put on a course of retelin or in special care???
when i was younger, i was compared to calvin...i am not aware if this was based on personality or looks!

I loved Revenge of the Baby-Sat, and I was excited to read Attack of the Deranged Mutant Killer Monster SNOW GOONS.
Calvin and his old buddy, Hobbes, have once again gotten themselves into little adventures, which include duplicating themselves, bringing snowmen to life, and playing Calvinball!

time though, Calvin and Hobbes have gone a little too far when they bring an actual snowman to life! The snowman creates an army, which Calvin defeats by freezing them with water on a cold night. But apparently, that's not going to save them from getting in trouble with Calvin's parents! There are also more adventures that are just as funny in this collection!
This book is awesome!I recommend it to EVERYBODY.

More Calvin and Hobbes fun.

Phenomenal! Genius! Perfection!: This is a classic among classics. What a title! There is not one dud joke in this collection, as is true of all C&H collections. You will be able to read this over and over again and it will still be funny - that is a guarantee. I do feel deprived of any new

material to read though. Alas Calvin & Hobbes have been put to bed forever. There is just no feeling like buying a new collection and reading it from cover to cover. C&H is like a drug for the stress of everyday life. Buy it, read it and then run amok in your neighbourhood with an arsenal of slush-balls. If there were 20 stars, I'd want to give it 30.
