SCENE 1 Interior of Cadet barracks at West Point, April, 1861.
SCENE 2 A grove overlooking the river, West Point.
SCENE 3 The parade ground.
SCENE 4 The barracks (same as Scene 1).
SCENE 5 Village Hall, Knox, Vermont.
SCENE 6 A residence on Broadway, New York.

ACT TWO
SCENE 1 A hivouac in the pint: woods, near Rome, Georgia. Autumn, 1864.
SCENE 2 Grounds adjoining Corse’s camp. Early morning.
SCENE 3 Interior at Guilford Plantation.
SCENE 4 Confederate rendezvous at Bass Ferry.
SCENE 5 Interior at Guilford Plantation {same as Scene 3).

ACT' THREE
SCENE 1 The hmcwood garden, Guilford Plantation
SCENE 2 Sherman's headquarters at Atlanta.
SCENE 3 General Curse’s headquarters office in camp.
SCENE 4 Interior at Guilford Plantation (same as in Act Two).

The Battle of Kenesaw Mountain.
