Nativity, Missouri, is in trouble. Roni Elliot manages the City
Jake Brisco is called upon by his grandmother to come and save her beloved town from financial ruin. He has to make the tough decisions to keep the city from going under. Decisions that does not make him a fan of the town's residents or of Roni's.
Together they all come together to learn the true meaning of Christmas. Saving the town in the process.
A heart warming story that brings to light what Christmas really means. The love of family, friends and the birth of a Savior. Includes a touching sentiment to the movie "A Christmas Story" that many of us know and love.
What I Liked: The quirky traditions of the town that all found
Why this is a great little holiday read: This was free on Kindle so it didn't cost a thing. It is quick read and will make you smile. It will put you in the holiday mood!

As I became acquainted with each character in this book, my heart grew in fondness for each and every one. I asked myself a question, would I be as concerned with tradition as these folks were or would I push to set tradition aside in order to save my town?
This is one heartwarming story that you do not want to miss. I know Christmas has come and gone but I still enjoy a good Christmas read any time of the year.
I have read other books by author Lori Copeland and have enjoyed her novels. Don’t miss out on this one!
