Sweet little Christmas story to get you in the spirit. It's a nice twist having the gal meet Santa's son and I look forward to the brother's stories.

This was a very enjoyable holiday read! I was looking for something fun and easy with a bit of magic and a dash of romance and this book completely delivered. In this book we are introduced to the delightful Klaus family and the eldest son Nicholas who is destined to take on the reins of "Santa"

when his father retires. Sadly for Nicholas, however, his true love lies in cooking rather than toy production and delivery and when he falls in love with a baker from the South...it throws all of the North Pole into a bit of a talespin!I loved all of the characters in this tale from the independent Lucy, to the moody Nicholas, his band of younger brothers and his delightful parents. The pacing of the novel is perfect and the author's descriptions of the North Pole are simply magical. Add in a healthy dose of some steamy romance and it's a perfect read for a cold winter's eve!I recommend this to anyone who is looking for a fun quick holiday read and who doesn't mind the steamy bits

Penny Watson is one of my favourite Romance bloggers; I was somewhat surprised to find out that she is writing Romance novels, too. As those are Christmas-themed, things normally would have stayed there, but for some reason I was in the mood for some holiday cheer, so thought I’d give it a try.

With the understanding that Christmas Romances usually aren’t my glass of eggnogg, I have to say that the premise for Sweet Temptation was somewhat silly but extremely cute, the plot involves lots of baking of yummy cookies and all of the characters (including a red-haired baker, buff Santa and his five hunky sons and several elves. No reindeers, though, as those are a myth) are very likeable.

On the downside, you really notice that this is a first novel (at least that’s what I’m assuming it is) – the writing is rather too rich in adjectives and the plot just chugs along, with most conflicts resolved almost the moment they are happening and a general lack of drama. Overall, it was still fun though, and I’ll likely pick up the second volume in the series.

Sweet Inspiration is a fun little book. It took just a couple of hours to read. I usually like my books longer, but I think this was the right length for this story. Other reviewers have done an excellent job of synopsizing the story so I won't repeat it.

I don't usually read paranormal or fantasy,

but this book seemed to do a nice job of world building. Granted, the world building was the North Pole and I would venture to guess most who celebrate Christmas have done their own world building.

Lucy seemed a bit too sweet and naive and Nicholas was a bit too alpha-brought-to-his-knees-by-love, but all in all it was worth the time and the money.

I got this on a Fictionwise sale and I could only find one other in the series. If the series were completed, would probably get them all. But just one more wouldn't be satisfying.

A feel good holiday romance story. It's short, so it feels pretty rushed, which is unfortunate. I would have loved it if it were longer so things didn't feel so rushed.
