It's actually pretty good. To a point. It's about a young girl who discovers that her mother is a vampire/werewolf/shapeshifter-thingy and her father is a vampire/werewolf/shapeshifter-thingy hunter, and that she's destined to end the war between the two families.

there are some good parts to the book, like when the main character is forced to suck blood for the first time, an act that's almost guaranteed to kill the person due to the initial bloodlust, and her best friend is forced to be her first victim, so they have to figure out a way around the binding spell. And when the council of families on her father's side decide they must kill her to save everyone, and she willingly volunteers (a sixteen-year-old!) to be killed for the good of everyone.
