This is really and truly the best comic in the world. It's not the "trenchant satire of modern media," either, or not primarily. It's the dialogue, which is perfect, and the fact that somehow you actually care about these scummy freebooters. I mean, volume two just about killed me. But volume one

I love everything Marvel. The storylines are incredible! They have everything you could want: action, adventure, comedy, romance, political intrigue, allegories, metaphors, etc. Some stories drag, some end too soon.

I had never really heard of this version of X-Force before. It was definitely interesting to see an x-team that wasn't as altruistic as the others I have read. The team is followed around by cameras and they become celebrities. The celebrity of the team feels almost over the top (as it's supposed

Beyond that it's interesting satire and you could see that the story was going somewhere and some of the characters were becoming more developed. I'll have to try and find other volumes. Show Less
