Blake is a seventeen-year-old boy in the summer of his junior year. He has always been kind of a loner, except for his very best friend, Kelli. He is informed that his parents were hosting another exchange student—which is just what he did not want to do. This is his last year of high school and he wanted to do this year on his own. His BFF Kelli sees the new Australian student's profile and she shows Blake how much he and Jaden have in common.
But do they have more in common than just the sports they play? Blake learns some things about himself while they are on the family vacation before the start of school. Will Blake accept all of the discoveries he makes about Jaden and about himself? Will Jaden be able to make a difference in Blake's life?
