The final act of a major case in my career as a criminal defense attorney leaves me raw so I head to The Wen, an island in the Gulf with a resort owned by my best friend and his husband. Ryker Adams lives on The Wen, too. And when we met a few months ago at my bestie’s wedding, sparks flew and clothes came off. Heading to The Wen for the summer seems like a good idea, the only better thing I can think of is to get Ryke back in my bed and keep him there. ------- I don’t have to be anything except Lin’s summer good time, which is for the best. Lin is gone back home after the summer and I’ll never leave The Wen. We will save some turtles and put to rest this old case that haunts him. Yep, just have fun in the sun and warm each other’s beds. No reason to question if maybe this is something more. Nope. None at all.
