About

Brent Foster and Troy Yates meet each other at a gay bar in Utah after being discharged from the U.S. Army. Each is trying to decide what to do with the rest of his life. Troy, an amputee with a military background in law enforcement, is a recent graduate from law school, while Brent, an MBA candidate whose army experience was as a pilot, find common interest in collaborating as modern-day bounty hunters—tracking down arrestees who have skipped out on their bail, and doing most of it by aircraft. Their respective skill sets allow them to offer unparalleled services in the industry, and they start a business together.

Committed to each other professionally, they nevertheless wrestle with hidden insecurities related to Troy’s disability and Brent’s aversion to risk, which is precisely what drew Troy toward this line of work in the first place. Determined to establish themselves, they attract business from all over the country, including some assignments related to “skips” that draw their sympathy, in addition to some who threaten to kill them. They run afoul of the Dixie Mafia along the way, which determines to get rid of them.

An airplane crash in the western desert, being jailed by a corrupt Georgia sheriff, and an organized ambush while helping a protected witness all threaten to put an end to their adventures, notwithstanding an unusual alliance with the U.S. Marshals Service. The very thing that brought Brent and Troy together may yet be what tears them apart.
