Jonathan Eyre

Jonathan Eyre tells the story of a young man in 1839 England. He is mixed race, Gay, and orphaned at an early age. He becomes employed by the master of Thornfield Hall a certain Edward Rochester, who himself has had notable love affairs with men. Edward is drawn to Jonathan, not from curiosity or sport, but he is challenged by Jonathan's presence. As is everyone else present at Thornfield Hall in the summer of 1839. From the servants of Thornfield to the Millcote Gentry everyone will always remember Jonathan Eyre.
