Description
"Jessica was pregnant and facing divorce when her husband and daughter were killed in a car accident months ago. Left to endure the tragedy and her pregnancy alone, she pulls away from her friends and community instead of leaning on them for care and support. She feels far away from God, lost and floating without an anchor. Then at her grandmother's funeral, Jessica receives a gift--her great-grandfather's Bible--which she relegates to a shelf in her house to gather dust alongside the other remnants of her faith. Ridley has suffered loss too. Disgraced in his job, his career seems to be over for good. He is both bitter and shamed. Adding insult to injury, his girlfriend of more than a year leaves at the first sign of trouble. Ridley retreats to a vacation property owned by his parents to lick his wounds and hide from the press. When he first arrives, he meets Jessica, his closest neighbor in this mountain community. But the last thing he wants is to become involved with her or anyone else in Hope Springs. All he wants is to be left alone. But God doesn't intend to let Ridley and Jessica go on hiding from life, even at its most difficult. Thumbing through the Bible later, seeing notes in both pencil and ink, Jessica begins a journey back to faith and wholeness. And the broken roads they have followed bring Jessica and Ridley to each other as well"--… (more)

With a theme of forgiveness resounding through decades, we see how hurt people go through their daily lives, and wonder if they will be able to find the peace that God offers?
A priceless bible from an unknown great
There is a bit of sweet romance here, but there is also some heartbreak, betrayal, and death of loved ones, but there is also Hope offered here, and we are there to witness it first had through the words of the author.
I loved going back and forth between the decades, but at times I didn’t want to leave where I was, but was always happy to go back. I highly recommend this read, one you won’t want to put down.
I received this book through Net Galley and the Publisher Thomas Nelson, and was not required to give a positive review.
To me, Who I Am With You felt more like a fiction novel than a romance novel. While there was some romance and tension, it wasn't a main focus of the story, as is the case in some Christian fiction. Still, I enjoyed watching Jessica and Ridley's relationship grow in spite of the difficult circumstances in both of their lives. Both characters learned the necessity of forgiveness and faith. I especially liked Ridley's character development and the changes he embraced throughout the story.
I recommend Who I Am With You by Robin Lee Hatcher to readers looking for a faith-filled heartwarming story. I enjoyed it while I was reading it, but I'm not sure if I would read it again. If you have read and enjoyed books by Robin Lee Hatcher in the past, you'll probably enjoy this one!

Jessica is trying to deal with a big loss in her life while pregnant. She had a great marriage until her husband shocked her with words she never expected to hear from him. Have you ever had an argument and then the person walked away? That is just what happened to Jessica, only tragedy struck and she finds herself grieving the loss of two very special people. Can she learn to trust again?
Ridley has moved next to Jessica for the summer to get away from the medial. He is hurt and trying to grasp the lies that have been told about him. What would you do if someone was spreading lies about you? Ridley is a very caring person and I liked how he reached out to Jessica with no expectations. Two lonely people dealing with forgiveness and trust will take readers on a journey that touch your heart.
I can't forget to mention Andrew and Helen. We meet them slipping back in time to the depression era. I loved how the author described the time period and how hard it was during that time for people to find work and food. Andrew will be faced with a hard truth that will find him asking for God's help. Andrew was my favorite character in the book because he has such a compassionate heart and forgives easily. He reminds me so much of my grandfather and it made me smile to have that memory of such a great man.
The story is strong in faith and scriptures that helped pull the story together in a beautiful and seamless way. The author writes with eloquence and her characters are very easy to relate to. Its a strong lesson in faith, trust and forgiveness. Everything happens for a reason, and in this story that statement is very true. Four people looking for guidance, forgiveness and happiness. This is one story that you will need to have tissues handy. I loved every minute of the story and hope you will too. Come take a journey and find out if these people will trust God. The title is perfect for this story because it made me think of who I am with my husband. With him beside me I am content, secure and know I am loved unconditionally. He is a great example of being Christ-like.
I received a copy of this book from Read with Audra Blogging Program. The review is my own opinion.
The lives of Jessica Mason and Ridley Chesterfield have both been touched by

Ridley Chesterfield needs time out of the public eye after he is blamed for leaking sensitive information about the candidate he works for. His parents vacation home in Hope Springs, ID is the perfect place for him to decide his future while performing some odd jobs around the house. After meeting Jessica, Ridley finds himself drawn to her but he also realizes she still needs to mourn her loss. Their tender friendship gradually gives way to love, but are either of them ready for a relationship?
Interspersed with Jessica's and Ridley's lives in the present are passages which detail Andrew Henning's marriage to Helen Greyson. Their married life is just beginning just as the Great Depression begins and their plans for the future are forever altered when Andrew loses his job. Forced to move in with Helen's parents, the couple suffer setbacks and hardships over the next few years. Andrew relies heavily on his faith to get him through many difficulties and although their lives take a completely direction than they envisioned, God's hand always guides them on their path.
Robin Lee Hatcher's Legacy of Faith series is off to a marvelous beginning with this thought-provoking and uplifting romance. Featuring dual storylines, a gentle undercurrent of faith and the healing power of love, Who I Am with You is a captivating novel of forgiveness and new beginnings.
