Eh. Weird story - very Norton in language, but wandering in plot even more than many Nortons. Twilla is the POV character, and most of the time she hasn't a clue what's going on - neither what others are doing around her (motivations), nor what she's doing herself. Her mirror-power is very

convenient, supplying exactly what she needs each time. I'd have been more interested in seeing Ylon's thoughts and feelings, as he dealt with his blindness and with what's going on around him. I don't know, it's not very satisfactory. It's apparently the second in a series, but I don't know what ties them together - people, place, or just a theme. Have to find another and check it out.
