This book is wonderful. If you are at all interested in drawing, sketching, or painting on location then you should grab this book. The illustrations are great and it has good information about the artists themselves as well as hints and techniques to help you become a better artist as well.

This is a beautiful book. Motivation to travel and to take time to really look at your environment. Almost all of the drawings are by professional illustrators, architects, and artists. Just looking through this book is inspiring! (a bit intimidating for a novice, but it is not really a basic

A collection of urban sketch work from artists around the world. It's a very inspiring collection with some great tips even for the beginning sketchers, though it is not a how-to.
