Well. So RJ Blain is capable of writing a book I don't love. It's still good - very interesting setting, situations, and characters, and well-written - but unlike my normal reaction to a Blain book I don't immediately want to read more in this world. It may just be that I don't really like pirates

(I know enough to know Catalina's descriptions are pretty accurate). I'll read another book if one comes up, but I'm not eager for it.
