It is a very cute, fun to read book. I love how it tells about the different animals in day and the night ones as well. Great book if you are looking to help get your child interested in wildlife. The art work is beautiful as well.

This book will help expand a child's understanding of the world and expand their vocabulary beyond what is typically seen in children's books. Cute, if somewhat awkward, poetry. The pictures (paintings) of the swamp and its creatures are gorgeous. Pleasant, though not much to it. It would be great for reading to/with a child.

appreciated the easy flow through the redwing's day as he visited different places. The descriptive language was fun and would be a great way to introduce children to adjectives. Overall, I would add this one to my library if it was available for the right price.
