Loved it! Liviana was an interesting character. I liked that the author created an American character and dropped her into the British ton. Certainly a shock for all who are involved. Wolfishly Yours is an enchanting read. Funny and romantic. Ms. Dare's story flows fast and smooth, it really is hard not to enjoy these stories. The characters grab you and don't let go. A must read!
The plot was nicely paced with just a bit of humor. Miss
Once in England she meets Grayson Hadley. They come to realize that they have more in common than being tutored on manners, they are both Lycans. Gray knows he should stay away from her so she can have a chance at an excellent marriage. Unfortunately the more he is with her, the more he falls in love with her and cannot stand to see man spend time with her.
What an enjoyable story. I love the little twists in the story line and the characters were just delightful. If you haven’t read any of the books in this series I highly recommend that you do!
If you have read Dare's book you know what to expect, if not, then I will tell you. There is humour, banter, flirting, fun, werewolves trying to behave and romance.
Grayson Hadley drinks,
Liviana is an American sent to England to learn proper manners. Yes you see a pattern here. At one time she say something that, well trust me it will be good. She is not timid and proper. And in the end she is everything a Lycan would want.
When these two meet there is a clash of wills. The romance grows, which I liked, because things does not happen at once. Though if I would say something negative is that Livi does something at one point that had me really disappointed. Have some faith woman!
Dare does it again. She knows her Lycans
4 Stars
Book #6 in the Regency Wolves series and a definite improvement on the last book.
Livi is an endearing Tomboy with little to no control over what comes out of her mouth. One cannot help sympathizing with a heroine whose social awkwardness and longing for home make it difficult
Unfortunately, the paranormal elements are still being played down in the newest additions to the series - there is much talk about Lycan natures and senses but no real action in this area.
The secondary characters are, however, very engaging and entertaining. Archer and Lady Sophie are still at each other's throats and I am eagerly awaiting their story. The Mayeux brothers are an intriguing pair (their shenanigans earn the book an extra 0.5 star), and I have to wonder if Dare isn't planning on relocating the series to the Louisiana Bayou. That would certainly add some spice to it.
