Third in internal continuity, apparently second published. It starts with Jason and Beth and John on the foreshore, with reference to an agreement between them about him going out - all of which is fully explained in Doghouse.

to be quite thoroughly nasty - a scammer, his partner, a girl willing and able to kill - two of them, actually - bah. I'm surprised Cunningham didn't notice anything when he saw the dog and the man together. And the reason for the whole fuss - pffff. If he'd just left, they might have figured out after the fact who killed who, but it wouldn't have been much more on his rap sheet - and hanging around like that was exactly what was needed to get him captured or worse. Too many twists to the story. On the other hand, the parts that were about the dogs and the business were fun. I like Cunningham and co. much more than the mysteries they get mixed up in. Show Less

This series continues nicely. Interesting characters and a suitably leisurely storyline.
