Lute and Moonhawk traveling together, probably pretty early on. Moonhawk is looking carefully at Lute's magic, but not yet willing to ask him about it. A village woman comes to Lute to ask for his help, as a magic man - her daughter is missing. Lute can't help, but Moonhawk speaks up - she can.

There's some interesting interaction between the two of them - a joking conversation that turns sour, though it ends with an apology. Then Moonhawk does her spell, seeking the lost girl - and gets more than she bargained for. I can't say what happens without spoiling it, it is a mystery with a twist or two - but it's not a happy ending. Moonhawk and Lute leave, afterward, rather easier in each others' presence - and Moonhawk has had some very new (if secondhand) experiences. Hmmm.
