Although this novel could benefit from more editing, as several errors slipped through the cracks, it was still a very enjoyable read. The characters have strong personalities and show depth and growth. The antagonist is truly evil and although it was at times disturbing to read, his madness really

helped showcase Willow's goodness and strength of will. There's also a fair amount of action, as well as a rather steamy romance. I would definitely consider reading more from this author!

witches from her old coven. She reluctantly works with Magickal Bureau of Investigations agent Alex Denopoulos. Alex hates witches and doesn’t trust Willow, but needs her skills and her knowledge of the coven. Together they work to uncover the murderer while fighting their increasing desire for each other.
This is an enjoyable urban fantasy romance. I appreciated that Willow was a strong character who could take care of herself. Alex was conflicted and fought his initial attraction to Willow. It was nice that the characters didn’t jump into bed right away. I would have liked if the mystery had been solved using some investigation rather than Willow using her powers to find the truth. Willow, and the bureau agents, all missed a fairly obvious clue as to how the murderer was getting access to the witches of the coven. The novel moved quickly, however, and was a fun read. Contains some pretty explicit sexual content.

I would recommend this book for fans of urban fantasy and paranormal romance.

This is the story of a witch named Willow and Alex who works for the Magickal Bureau of Investigations. A group of humans and demons who monitor and police the magical portion of society. This story takes place in a world where magic users, demons and humans all coexist. Willow is looking for a

missing friend who she believes is in trouble and she herself is in trouble for leaving her work from a very bad demon/organization. Alex is investigating problems in that area. When they mean sparks and trouble ensue. Definitely not a book for youth with the explicit writing of Willow and Alex's sexual encounters. But this is a good story.

I enjoyed the fast pace, there was a good balance of chemistry between the two characters and exhilarating twists and turns action to keep the plot flowing. The author has created an intriguing supernatural world, I especially loved the paranormal law enforcement agency. I love book with cop paranormal aspects so this book hit the spot for me. Can't wait to read more books in the series.

Willow is a witch with no family or ties who will do anything for her only friend. If she can find her and trying to stay a step ahead of a demon boss. Forced into working with a handsome mortal that doesn't like witches but has great chemistry with, makes for a spicy story.
