Nice drawings, simple interactive story with a bit of humor. A big hit with my two-year-old.

Do you know? Great prediction story. Rhymes are brillaint witht he kids - not sure about the 'pig, fat as butter' esepcially as the other animals are just as fat. Love the fact that the one who sinks it is the sole man!!!!

I bought this book for my nieces. They've asked me to read it about twice a week since then - and we have so many books, that's quite significant!
What I loved about it, more than the fact that the kid can really see how *everybody* sank the boat (very clearly illustrated), is the fact that it
The first time I read it, I paused to ask the older niece if she knew who sank the boat (the question is repeated several times throughout the book), and she answered it correctly, without even thinking - of *course* it's the teeny tiny mouse who sank the boat! Who else would it be?

A superb and funny book. The illustrations are very funny and they had my daughter captivated.

I used this book this year during Science Inquiry as an introduction lesson. We made clay boats and thought about how we could make changes to the boat to make it hold more weight. This was a great piece of literature to use!

Enjoyed by our boys and stored in the attic for the next generation, enough said.
