Description
In the tenth book in the best-selling lesbian comic series that has become an international treasure, Mo, Clarice, Lois, Sparrow and Toni square off on questions of idealism, violence, compassion, patriotism and dissent. As they hash out their ideological differences, a black-and-white world takes on surprisingly variegated shades of grey. Syndicated worldwide and in Diva magazine, this newest addition to the series is guaranteed to take the UK lesbian community by storm.
Media reviews
The introduction to Dykes and Sundry Other Carbon-Based Life Forms to Watch Out For makes two important points: stories about lesbians are human stories that can be enjoyed by anyone, and “the whole point of a liberation movement… is to render itself obsolete.”

Being a straight male who grew up in Santa Cruz in the '70s and '80s, there had been times when I felt like I'd given Alison Bechdel some her best plots! Her humor is spot-on, whatever your orientation or politics.
