This is a good collection of science fiction. A couple of stories are nominally science fiction being more alternative history than science. But there are a few stories in this collection that are excellent. My favourite was "Into the Miranda Rift" by G. David Nordley. Reminded me somewhat of

Verne's Journey to the Centre of the Earth but through an asteroid. A few others that are notable were "Friendship Bridge" by Brian Aldiss, "Guest of Honor" by Robert Reed, and "Feedback" by Joe Haldeman.
