attend the Thistle Crumpets Camp for Girls, a hardcore group of girls who live in cabins, earn badges and have pledges.....they have their groups and cliques who sometimes dont agree.

In this volume, Chapters 25-28, the Lumberjanes learn the highest ranking and eldest Lumberjanes, The Grand Lodge, will be coming to visit Thistle Crumoets camp. They have many rules....one being NO CATS. With numerous kittens running around the camp, the girls try to round them up and hide them in the mess hall. But as The Grand Lodge VW bus pulls up, a giant bird lifts the van and carries it away. The campers realize the kittens are magical and use their charms to find and save the Grand Lodge.
This is a fantastic series for young girls. Each volume features a lesson on respect, responsibility etc and to me are one of the best parts of the books. They are very positive, nurturing

I love this series. Its positive, and fun. Graphics are really good, and the beginning lessons of each volume are fantastic. Esp great for middle grade girls!! Inspiring.

Not my favorite in the series, but still very enjoyable. The kidnapping by bird was a bit boring.

This one was awesome because of the kittens! and their magical powers! I was like squee all the way through! Just like Ripley! Such a great series. As usual, the girls have to rescue their elders from a giant bird. So much adventure and so many kitties!!!
