Nautical Archaeology on the Foreshore: Hulk Recording on the Medway

This text presents the results of rapid salvage recording of abandoned hulks on the River Medway, Kent, together with a history of the area, an analysis of vessel types and an illustrated catalogue. The system for recording vessels and timbers, which was developed from this project, forms the second part of the publication.
