Luna has been an annoyingly troubled character in previous books in this series, but in Daemon's Mark she's moved on to being more sassy/kick-ass. It is a welcome change, as is the fact that she's actually functioning with some emotional connections to the other characters.

loose endings though; I wanted Luna to save more people than she wound up saving. It was like a few characters just were no longer important at the end of the book, to the detriment of the story.
This is the best book in this series so far, and a fast paced and interesting read.
