This was not one of Joy fielding"s best books. The ending did come as a surprise! Most of thecharacters in the book were very dislikeable.

Great story! Didn't figure out the twist until it was spelled out in the story! Loved it!

The only mystery in this book is who are the protagonists? All of the characters are so dislikable, is was impossible to know who you were supposed to root for. I finished it, but did not enjoy it. I won't spoil it for you, but definitely not up to Field's standards. Thumbs down.

Suzy has an innocent, almost ordinary girl-next-door way about her. Little do they know the secrets she hides from the outside world, particularly those having to do with the daily horror she experiences under the watchful eye of her abusive husband, Dave Bigelow.

Sitting in a bar one evening three friend see a lovely young woman sitting at a table having a drink by herself. A little too much alcohol has been consumed and the three friends make a bet as to who can be the first to seduce the young woman. Quite obviously, a dangerous plan, made even more

dangerous by the simple fact that this woman has a plan of her own. It’s not a new scenario by any means but Ms. Fielding does freshen it up. It was an ending that I have read before in books and witnessed unfold in movies but in the case of this book I truly didn’t see it coming, which made it a very, very interesting read.

I was SO pleased to read Joy Fieldings newest book, Now You See Her, so I started looking for her earlier books. I made a big mistake with this one. I kept reading but I just did NOT like ANYTHING about the characters, their behaviors....it just seemed totally gruesome with no saving grace. Yes,

the ending completely surprised me so congratulations to Fielding for that. I will certainly try more of her books but I've very sorry this was my first try after throughly enjoying the newest one.
